Maldives, Ailafushi’s is a twin island whose landscape em- braces the magical Indian Ocean offering stunning ocean views.The landscape is carefully designed to embrace the endemic plants of Maldives and ensure a climatic re- sponse.

The soft and hard landscapes coupled to- gether provide refreshing breakaway spaces to create private and public pockets of inter- action with sunken seating and pavillions, providing the users the freedom to connect and embrace the wonderful Maldivian land- scape.

Undulating pathways and bridges were designed to link the island together between different functions and pockets of nature. Cascading water features are used to ornate the tropical island, awing service areas, and the back of house. The landscape design for this island ensured to provde a holistic ecosystem that seamlessly integrated with the beach and ocean beyond.
